I can't believe that AJ is almost 8 months! It has been so fun though, watching him change literally everyday. His new trick is he's learned how to clap his hands...he shrieks and laughs at the attention he gets. He'll flash a little wave our way every once in a while also. Babies are true JOY- cries, sleepless nights and ALL! He says "dada" (dangit, Adam gets the first word). We're pretty excited for our trip to Florida June 23, we're spending 2 weeks with my dad and Linda (grandpa and meme). A little nervous for the flight though...we've all had the joy of sharing a flight with "that fussy baby"", but PRAY all goes well. We'll post some pictures when we get back...lots of pool shots I'm sure. We have some cute pictures from Ribfest (Matt and Melissa Barton's annual BBQ) AJ LOVED the pool.

For those of you who may not be familiar with the "Bumbo" seat...it's a baby-must-have in the Strate house. We have a child who does not like to lie down and miss ANY action. He can sit up on his own fairly well, but he likes to take the occasional nose dive into the ground every once in a while. He's much safer in his restraint....I mean, Bumbo seat. These are pictures from AJ's uncle Eric (who loves to babysit his nephew)

Long time no hear, I warned you all that this blog page may be an utter disappointment, as months and months pass and no new posts. Thanks for all you faithful few out there who will stick with me as I slowly catch up in my life. AJ is 6 months now, rolling over front and back...he actually will just roll himself around the room (we want to wrap him in reverse tape so he can help us clean the carpets of all the dog hair). He LOVES his Whitey dog, or any furry four-legged friend for that matter. I have more pictures to post, but thought I'd share a "teaser" here to keep you yearning for more. What's cuter than a boy and his dog anyways!
